"on jan. 15, the manangers of KRCL 90.9 fm, salt lake city's community radio station, dropped a bombshell during a meeting of volunteers who serve as the station's djs."
i think that's an accurate way to describe what happened that fateful night. but it seems that every meeting i've been to since (like the one last night, and the one this coming tuesday) has made the situation worse, brought more concealed information to the surface, and has created more ill willed feelings about the re-structuring of KRCL. mostly because i'm going to be losing my own show, tuesday breakfast jam, but also because of the sweet sadness that entails it. i will miss serving the community and meeting the amazing people that bring us all together. i've never been more proud to do anything than i have been to be a volunteer music programmer for krcl, and during one of their prime time slots no less. this has been an incredible and extraordinary experience for me, and has changed my life completely.
